DESCRIPTION:Referral Fee Disclosure Updates – New C.A.R. Forms & Resources\nWith referral fees receiving heightened attention across the industry and in the media\, C.A.R. has updated several forms to clarify and streamline disclosure requirements. One key update includes the revised REALTOR® Acknowledgement and Disclosure Form (RAD)\, which now provides a more standardized and transparent method for disclosing referral-related compensation and other required disclosures. \nTo assist members in understanding and properly implementing these revisions\, C.A.R. has released a comprehensive Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) document covering referral fees and the updated RAD form. The FAQ outlines: \n\n\nWhen the RAD form is required \n\n\nWhat information must be disclosed \n\n\nHow the revisions align with current legal requirements \n\n\nAccess to the FAQ requires signing in to car.org. \nC.A.R. acknowledges that additional questions are expected as these changes are adopted. To provide further guidance\, C.A.R.’s leadership and legal team will host two additional Referral Fee Townhalls: \n\n\nThursday\, December 11 \n\n\nTuesday\, December 16 \n\n\nPlease note: These townhalls will NOT be recorded\, so it is critical that you register and attend one of the LIVE sessions. \nAttendees will also have the opportunity to ask questions during each event.
