Christy earned a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Government with a minor in International Relations from American University in DC. She worked in DC for over 6 years as a legislative aide for several members of the House on Capitol Hill focusing on a number of policy issue areas\, including housing. Christy also assisted in several election campaigns. She moved to NYC in 2016 to work as the Manager for Public Affairs for the Association of Songwriters\, Composers\, Authors\, and Publishers.
