Mark Zimmer is the General Manager for Golden State Water’s Coastal District, overseeing operations in Santa Maria, Los Osos, Edna Valley, and Simi Valley since 2015. He manages nine water systems, ensuring reliable and high-quality water service. With prior experience as Operations Superintendent and various water operator roles, Zimmer has led initiatives focused on efficiency, innovation, and customer service. He holds certifications in Water Distribution and Treatment, and degrees in Biology and Organizational Leadership from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and Chapman University.
