C.A.R. is sponsoring Prop 37 because it tackles affordability and availability by creating homeownership opportunities for working and middle-income Californians.
Visit car.org/advocacy/prop37 for information about the ballot measure, answers to frequently asked questions, and tools designed to help members stay informed and share accurate information with clients, colleagues and their communities.
As a reminder, the state legislative program contains descriptions of the most recent versions of all the bills C.A.R. is actively lobbying in the state legislature. All pending legislation still requires the Governor’s action. Bills he signs, or allows to become law without his signature, will take effect. Once the signing deadline passes, C.A.R. Legal will publish guidance and host a webinar on the new laws.
